Cairo / Pyramids / Citadel of Saladin

Day One:

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for a flight to Cairo International Airport
• Lunch, on own
• Meet our Egypt guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in
• Evening dinner and overnight

Day Two:

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Travel to the ancient capital of Memphis to see the Step Pyramids of Sakkara.
• Continue to Giza and the Pyramids of Giza to see Cheops Pyramid, the largest of the three, built around 2690 B.C. Also see the Sphinx, carved out of a single piece of stone
• Lunch, on own
• Experience a camel ride by the Pyramids and visit the Papyrus Institute
• Evening dinner
• See the spectacular Sound and Light show at Giza
• Return to hotel for overnight

Day Three

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Visit the Egyptian Museum with the fabulous treasures of King Tut Ankh- Amon and antiques dating back 50 centuries. We will also visit the Coptic Museum
• Lunch, on own
• Explore the Citadel of Saladin and enjoy a panoramic view of Cairo. We will continue to Old Cairo and see the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, and the Church of St. Mary. We will then visit the Alabaster Mosque as well as the Khan El Khalili Bazaar
• Evening dinner and overnight

Day Four

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Transfer to Cairo International Airport for the return flight
